July 2006
We both raced at Talkin Tarn.  Jen raced for the first time in a single and enjoyed it.  She also had a go in a double with Helen O'Connor Pickering.  Ian was promoted to the men's squad and stroked a four and then went back to reality joined the novices for a paddle in an Eight.

June 2006
Jen got a single scull, lost her novice status in a Quad at Hexham and rowed at Durham.

A lot has happened this year.  Jen completed the London Marathon.  We have started rowing with Tees Rowing Club.  Jen has changed jobs and is now working in a local secondary school.
